As follows from the last report of the Ministry of interior on foreigners buying property in 2017 foreign nationals (natural and legal persons) bought in Poland 6385 objects, including 4822 apartments and 1563 of the premises. Total area of apartments purchased amounted to 304.5 thousand sq m and commercial premises – 450,4 thousand sq. m.
In the period from 2015 and 2016 the amount purchased by foreigners in Poland housing grew very rapidly, averaging about 20 percent. a year. In 2017, the increase was only 3.7 percent. (for individuals, 6.1%). After the first year it is hard to predict, the time, whether it is choking, or at the end of the dynamic growth of the popularity of the Polish real estate market. The fact that over the past five years, the number of apartments sold in Poland by foreigners has increased by more than 56 percent.
